Retirement has allowed Donna and I to share our recent and past experiences through photography. From the days of Kodak film to today’s digital photography, we’ve been creating our memories through the lens of a camera. Since the darkroom days of junior high school, I've always wanted to share my photos. Now that we’re “off-the-clock”, this has become a reality. Beauty is in everything around us, whether it's travel, backyard nature, or your favorite plants and creatures. The squirrels, cardinals, flowers, and butterflies share their many personalities through photography. We love travel and always have a camera in hand.

After a year of planning and organization, my photography was introduced to the public in July 2014 at the Braselton Gallery in Braselton, GA. My gallery is located at the Red Hound Antique Market in Commerce, GA.

My first photography jurying took place in January 2015. Seven entries received awards in 2015 and six have received awards through May of 2016. Targeted interests include landscapes, aging farm buildings, nature, and other outdoor subjects. When I'm behind the lens, it reminds me to enjoy the fleeting moments that make up life...photos are great reminders of these experiences. Current works include framed, matted and unmatted photography and note cards.
